Lessons
Lessons are taught in two formats: either small group classes with a maximum of 4 students per class (Quatorials) or one-to-one lessons (Tutorials).

Choose the number of lesons to suit your exam requirements:

- core programme: 15 Quatorial lessons per week
- core programme + 10 Tutorial lessons per week

The Course
The course programme focuses on developing the four key constituents of language learning: grammar, vocabulary, listening and speaking.

Core Programme:

• accuracy in the use of grammar and syntax
• active and passive vocabulary development
• effective comprehension and assimilation of a wide variety of authentic written texts
• confidence and fluency in the spoken language

Exam Preparation Option:

• development of student's ability to write accurate prose in a range of styles and registers, eg. personal and business correspondence, reports, creative writing, etc.
• reading skills and text analysis
• writing skills - developing a prose style
• exam skills under timed conditions from a variety of authentic papers
